The SprayMax 2in1 headlight repair with item number 684068
What exactly is 2 in 1 headlight repair?
Your headlight unit is usually made of polycarbonate. This type of plastic yellows over time and even becomes dull. This not only gives your car a dated look, but is also unsafe and can lead to rejection. With SprayMax 2 in 1 headlight repair you can solve this 100% permanently. A 2-component UV-resistant adhesive layer and seal in one treatment. As a bonus, your car will immediately look a lot fresher!
What do you mainly use it for?
Making dull, yellowed headlight units permanently crystal clear.
What is the best way to handle headlight repair? And what should you pay attention to during processing?
You need to do very serious cleaning and sanding. Start cleaning the unit with SprayMax silicone remover. Depending on the damage, sand with P 500 / P 1000. Sand with very fine grit, last two steps P 1000 and P 2000. Always clean between sanding passes with SprayMax silicone remover. After your unit is perfectly smooth, give it a final cleaning and wipe down with a tack cloth.
Shake the aerosol can for 2 minutes and activate the 2K 2 in 1 aerosol by placing the red button from the cap on the pen under the aerosol. Now press the button firmly on a flat surface and you will feel the hardener container open. Shake well again to mix the hardener. The bus is ready for use. Work in just 2 coats. A first thin closed layer, and after about 10 minutes a second thicker closed layer. Done, more layers make the paint layer less strong.
What are the product benefits?
A cheap, simple and fast way to repair, rather than replace, the expensive headlight units.”
