Auto-K filler

The Auto-K putty is a fantastic product for leveling out imperfections for a pore-free surface. Make sure you remove the rust properly and sand the damaged area thoroughly!

First treat the damaged area with Auto-K anti-corrosion primer and then let it dry for 30 minutes.

You could also fill any dents with Auto-K 2-component filler.

Now any remaining pores or scratches can be filled with the Auto-K combined filler.

The combined filler is the final layer before painting

Apply a thin and even layer of filler and allow to dry for 2-3 hours. Then sand smooth; repeat the process if necessary.

Remark:

Ready to sand: after 2-3 hours at 20°C

Clean tools (spatulas, mixing cups) immediately after use (e.g. with acetone, cellulose thinner)
